The Ottawa Paw Pantry is looking for dedicated volunteers to join the Client Relations team.
Working closely with the lead, this volunteer team member will be a point of contact for a group of clients and will see them through from initial application to distribution day status. You will also be able to provide recommendations for other social services, or veterinary services should they require any. This list is already available and relationships have been formed, it’s just a question of relaying the message to them.
Create a healthy, positive experience to engage clients
Take ownership of arising conflict and follow problems through to resolution
Keep accurate records of actions and discussions with clients and Community Partners
Uphold a high standard of respect for applicants, volunteers, and Community Partners by all Ottawa Paw Pantry Volunteers
Build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
Clear understanding of need for and ability to maintain client confidentiality at all times
Experience in providing customer service/support (asset)
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Working knowledge of a smartphone and Google Docs preferred
