The Ottawa Paw Pantry is looking for dedicated volunteers to join the Client Relations team.
The Client Relations Coordinators act as a point of contact for a group of clients and provide support to them as needed, including checking in and ensuring they have enough food for the month. Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Occasionally, you may be asked to provide recommendations for other social services, or veterinary services. These lists are already available and relationships have been formed, it’s just a matter of relaying the message to them.
Note: This position requires a completed police background check (at no cost)
Responsibilities
Create a healthy, positive experience to engage clients
Escalate potential conflict to Client Relations Manager
Keep accurate records of actions and discussions with clients and Community Partners
Be respectful of client needs and information
Requirements
Clear understanding of need for and ability to maintain client confidentiality at all times
Experience in providing customer service/support (asset)
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Working knowledge of a smartphone and Google Docs preferred
