Monetary donations
We’ve partnered with some pretty great locations in Ottawa to make finacial donations go further. By donating, we can ensure we purchase the specific type of food our clients need.
Donations are securely processed through CanadaHelps.org. All donations of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt
Monthly donations generate a consistent and predictable revenue stream. This means we can continue to serve the pets in our communities.
No amount is too small to make a difference!

If you’d rather shop from the comfort of your home (who could blame ya?), consider heading to our Amazon wishlist to ship cat and dog food items right to our door.
We’ve listed the top items requested and in need, and there are items for almost every price point.
Food donations
Food donations are at the core of how we operate. We distribute your donation directly to a furry friend in need of a full belly. We are currently accepting donations of:
Dry or wet dog food
Dry or wet cat food
Dog/cat treats
Litter
For us to accept food, it must be unopened without major tears (or repairs!) and in its original packaging so that we can make sure we can use it based on the expiration date.
To donate, visit one of our drop-off locations and leave your food in the donation bin. If you can’t make it to one of the drop-off locations, email us at hello@ottawapawpantry.ca to make other arrangements.
We do not accept pet supplies such as crates, kennels, and beds. Many other rescues need these items, and we can certainly point you in the right direction.
